Iranian award-winning short film ‘Retouch’ grabs award at the Krakow Film Festival in Poland.

Directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, the short film won the Silver Dragon for the best short feature film at the 57th edition of the festival.

Winning the award, ‘Retouch’ was introduced to the Academy Awards for the second time.

The film has participated in many international festivals and has won Crystal Simorgh for Best Short Film at Fajr Film Festival as well as grabbing the best short title from Iran Cinema Celebration.

Produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society, “Retouch” is about a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.

Krakow Film Festival is one of the oldest events in Europe dedicated to documentary, animated and short feature films, the official website for the event wrote.
